Just checking in with another update. I'm proud to finally announce the release of Supply Drop, some long overdue Token Shop updates and a bunch of welcoming changes to our rules
So, first off, Supply Drop. You've all been waiting for this for a lot longer than you should have been, but it's finally here. I wanted to make sure our version of this event wasn't something boring you can find on most other servers, so we put a lot of work into realizing our own vision of Supply Drop.
Supply Drop runs once every 4 hours and broadcasts a 15 minute countdown announcement which includes the coordinates to the location of where the drop will be. The Supply Drop spawns as a chest item at a random location in wilderness, somewhere between y100-200. This item, like any other item, will fall to the ground unless there's someone or something there to catch it.
First things first, thank you to all of those who voted for the month of June. Seeing consistent top voters back this month, along with some new names is always refreshing to see. To those who did not make the top 10 list, we hope the revamped vote rewards are motivation enough to climb to the top of the list. Without each and every vote, Minelink would not be where it is today and it's all thanks to your dedication.
Without further ado, here are the top voters for:
As a thank you to all those who voted during the month of June, we will be rewarding every one of the top 10 voters with a Buycraft coupon.
The remaining 7 top voters will receive a $10 Buycraft...
I'm happy to announce a few promised updates here, as well as some new updates based on community feedback. Overall there's a lot of changes to take in, however, off the bat I want to regretfully say that Supply Drops are not a part of this update, but it is still being actively developed and will be coming soon. With that said, I'm proud to announce the following changes:
Neutralizing can now only be paused by the castle holder or capturer. This basically means that multiple factions can now be on the control point neutralizing it.
When a captured castle is being neutralized and the control point becomes empty, it slowly starts to re-capture itself. This automatic re-capture speed has been slowed in half. Instead, re-capturing will go faster if the castle holder is on the control point.
No, no. Not that time of the map. It's time for ChanchoBowl XIII, or the 13th 1v1 tournament that I've hosted. Over the last 12 ChanchoBowls, 179 individual players have competed and only 8 of those players have ever won. ChanchoBowl XII was the biggest ChanchoBowl ever and I hope this one can be even bigger.
This tournament is for all players who want to be in it, but entering twice will result in disqualification of both of the accounts you enter with. The kit is supplied by me and the arena is in Warzone. The tournament has a limit of 64 players. ChanchoBowls typically last a few days, so don't expect it to be over within a few hours. To enter, leave your name below. Any comments on this thread that aren't either entries or questions will be DELETED.
